Access to Music works in partnership with The Forum, an established venue and rehearsal and recording studio complex in Darlington town centre.
The centre currently offers our Music Practitioner Advanced Apprenticeship and apprentices benefit from the excellent facilities including a 175 capacity venue, two recording studios and three large band rehearsal rooms.
ADVANCED APPRENTICESHIPS
- Event Management & Production.
- Level 3 (two years).
- Priority for 16-24s.
- APPLY NOW as you must enrol & start before the end of July.
This Advanced Apprenticeship focuses on event management and production. However, there are also some opportunities for music artists/producers and session players.
Apprentices gain core skills in chosen aspects of events such as organisation and management, marketing and promotion, live sound engineering, lighting, stage management and recording/video.
You will use the excellent facilities at The Forum and will have opportunities for work with local, regional and national partners.
You also benefit from business skills training which will enable you to set up a business or become self-employed.
Apprentices will also work towards gaining an Access to Music/Rockschool qualification at Level 3 which will enable you to progress to higher education if you wish.
