Access To Music Manchester is housed on the site of the iconic Cutting Rooms, home to bands such as Take That, Oasis, James, The Charlatans and Doves. The centre has a dedicated computer room, three large live rooms and personal practice suites that include Apple recording solutions using Logic and Reason.
Access to Music Manchester is proud to have established links with Unity Radio, Band On The Wall, Generator and the Royal Northern College of Music. Education and training is delivered by seasoned industry professionals and includes one-to-one mentoring. Recent guest speakers have included Mercury award-winner DJ Krust and Rachel McClelland (label manager at Dirty Skank, ex- student Dizzee Rascal) and Jon McCready from the NME.
Apprentices from our current cohorts have gigged in Germany, put on sound and light for Maxi Priest, sold out local venues and are currently engaging in setting up events across Manchester.
ATM Manchester prides itself on the individual attention given to each apprentice. Every member of staff knows every apprentice – this is not a centre where you are just another face.
Access to Music Manchester is located in Crumpsall just two miles from the city centre on the Metro Link, Woodlands Stop.
Please note that Access to Music also runs courses in Manchester in partnership with Trafford College and the Royal Northern College of Music.
